couldn't even skim thru this garbage. So being a chinese-american who took tennis lessons is good enough to write for Slate? and I bet the editor insisted on adding the "hate" word to the title to entice more readers,

Chang deserved much more than this crap

Amen. I don't understand why there has been a backlash against Michael Chang in the tennis community.

This article is yet another of the poor, contradictory-just-for-contradiction's-sake kind of article that Slate seems to churn out.

Because the author is a frustrated, jealous wannabe!

Slate churns it out and you keep reading it. I don't want to call names, so I'll just say there is a simple, simple solution if you don't like contrarian articles and if you can't figure out that the simple solution isn't logging onto the Fray and complaining, well....

"Couldn't even skim through this garbage", eh? If that means anything, it means you neither read the article nor skimmed through it... which raises the question: how do you even know what's in it!? It could be full of fine, praiseworthy remarks about Michael Chang's wonderfulness, for all you know! So, how did you do it? ESP? Did someone else read the article to you? Please explain, I'm sure we'll all be fascinated.
