great to be back from Hospital
by martingreene

and to see a poem by Paul Breslin. Carefully read that later. I remember writing before going into the Hospital for Special Surgery tfor the total knee replacements (do not regret the 15 marathons that wore out my cartilage) that it would be fun to ge real paper get-well cards from fellow Poems writers, or friends elsewhere on Slate.

I got one from which was written in multi-color, ended "A bird of Moon is me :.), and was from Emma Chan, [address], Hong Kong.

So, are we everywhere? Thanks Emma. Martin

I'm sitting here with a returned card from the Special Surgery hospital address in NY that you posted. I sent it a day or two early, but maybe too early?

I'd inquired about a rehab address but got none. Did you get the email I sent?

I'd written under Richard's thread that I hope to read your reactions to this Paul Breslin poem. Looking forward to reading your thoughts.

Very glad to know you are OK. If you send your address via return email, I will send to you this paper card.

Mail should not have returned.

I you can, please resend it. I will call the hospital, and tell them to make up a folder of such material, esp. as i due for an exam there (how'd operation go?) on August 22. I get it all, and will call tomorrow. They probably chuck anything after the day the patient goes home or to a rehab facility. I'll fix it tomorrow. Thanks. Martin, my real name yet.
what rhymes with 'knee replacement'?

Hi, Martin, I have no address for you other than this one, so I will say here that I'm glad to hear your surgery went well. Are you spending your recuperation time working on some new poems for us?

Martin,

Glad to hear that you're OK and doubtless soon to begin training for marathon # 16!

After theloss of my mother I have been hanging out at my dad's house. It's at 44 Neputune ave. Apt 21 E, Bklyn NY 12224. I have a a mail drop here. SWe should all get together, as geography permits. We've had at least two "fraymeets" in NYC in the past year, and it was fun. Right now I can't walk. Hey Waltz drop me at the fearlessly disclosed address. I know, I'm ttoo trusting...)
