Gosh.....I'm a member of the Cursed Generation, the baby- boomers, and I can SAFELY say, without seeing this "movie" that it SUCKS.....even the trailers SUCK....I have been drawn into several crappy films this year by dynamite trailers....the trailer for this Abba spectacle looks like one of SNL's very good parodies of a bad movie trailer.....

The last really GOOD film musical was "Camelot"....and all the Lerner and Lowe, and Rodgers & Hammerstein musicals that came before it ....THOSE were musicals......notwithstanding "All that Jazz" and "Chicago" because of the spectacular GAM-fests that those films were.......(that JAILHOUSE number---cinematic Viagra)....

Abba has always been crap, and they weep all the way to their Swiss banks driving their TRUCKLOADS of American dollars......I'm just sorry to see Ms. Streep condescend to this level......yeah....I know...she's cryin' all the way to her bank too..........

Musicals are not my thing, but I agree with you on Chicago. Renee Zellweger and Cathrine Zeta Jones never looked hotter.

The ABBAS are Swedes (Sweden is not Switzerland by the way)
