After viewing WALL-E, I am of the opinion that this article seems to following the latest trend in America--taking umbrage. WALL-E is not meant to be offensive to obese people. The hard fact of life is that if you make no move to lift a finger and stuff your face with foods like "cupcake in a cup," you will gain weight, and if you do this all your life, you will become obese.

The people portrayed in WALL-E are not lazy because they are obese; they are obese because they are lazy. Engbert's railing against Pixar because they link laziness and obesity is slightly humorous. The two are linked, but it is not necessarily a two-way link.
