Al Franken is just another left of left dickhead, and if he looses, the election, that's great, but if he doesn't, if Minnesotans are really that stupid, then so be it, they deserve the socialist bastard. The fact that you can come up with a good impression of his politics by reading his books and watching the crap he's come out with on television (and I don't reccomend doing this without a handy vomit recepticle) is a good thing, because even though he can say, "Oh, it was all just comedy, I don't actually believe any of that leftist vitriol I spew", people can spot bullshit when they see it and smell it coming from Al Franken's mouth and his pen. Besides, he's only one guy, and once he gets into the Senate a few of the Hollywood sycophants both in the chamber and the media will sniff his ass for awhile and then he will become just the junior senator from Minnesota and once the spotlight fades he won't be running for another term because he won't get the fame he craves and he'll realize that involving himself in the process is work and not nearly as much fun as bitching about the results to an adoring audience of elitist jackasses in love with the sound of their own ineffectual liberal diatribes.
