The author forgot a simple explanation that I have heard from moms over and over. Girls are harder to raise than boys. You worry more about girls than you do about boys. From everything to haircuts to dating and fears of kidnapping, girls cause more stress and conflict between parents because it's more difficult to raise them. Boys are'nt so great, they're just less heartache.
