i think this was a very good articles.for months i have been trying to tell my soon to be son in law all about the timeout but he just wont lisen.i have a 3year old grandson.i tell my daugther and him you are his exempell.what you do he sees, and doese.my soone to be alwayes screemes at him when he put him in timeout end would hold him in the time out.i finely got him to stop doing this.i finelley got him to talk to my grandson and tell him for what reson he has to do the timeout.i believe that children that age have a small attention span .so if you yell at them because the did wrong the not lisening because the here you scremming.and fogot all about why the have to go to the timeout.this article will help him to understand that the way he was doing the timeout method was somewhat wrong.i just hope he will try it out the wright way.
