No Statute of Limitations On War Crimes

Addington and Yoo can be as blithe as they wish; hopefully, as Democrats fill the House and Senate and the presidency, former Bush administration officials who are complicit will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Just because they are Americans doesn't mean they should be treated any differently than others who have committed serious crimes against humanity in the course of attaining and maintaining power - including Sadaam Hussein, the 'Dear Leader' of North Korea and Idi Amin.

Atrocities are atrocities, whether they are committed by Americans or by others.

Idi died of old age surrounded by his concubines in a palace in Saudi Arabia. Dick Cheney may wind up that way, since he is close to the end, but I hope Bush, Addington, Rove, et al, don't have such pleasant endings. Without justice, there can never be peace.
