WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE?
by Nike

Remember how Americans acted - jaw agape in horror - when the torture chambers in Iraq were run by Saddam? But now that Americans have their own government-run torture chambers, they'd rather talk about other stuff. I've watched Americans for the last DECADES act all indignant about Nazi torture chambers - but US torture chambers aren't even worth discussing. Let's talk about football, dude! LMAO, family values at their finest.

God Bless America.

I think it's guilt.

I think the outrage is out here buried under the media's admiration for the gall and chutzpah of people like Addington. Reading this and the DAna Priest's rendition, what I took away was that the reporters seemed to admire Addington's bullying bravado more than they cared about his crimes against humanity.

I guess all it takes to get away with war crimes is a) be a Republican and b) swagger.
