Rubbish
by Osecanuc

Call me silly but, When I read a title of an article such as this was (ie ‘The Truth about Barrack Obama’) I am actually wanting to... no, yearning to... no, thirsting to learn about the TRUTH as it applies to the man who wants to be the President of the United States of America. Particularly in light of the fact that we are already in the eleventh hour, we have already picked our Nominee, and we still know less about him than any other candidate for the Presidency in the history of this nation. Moreover, much of what we are finding out is an ever increasingly disturbing picture of deception and incompetence. As evidenced by among many other thing the events of today and the campaign finance Issue. I suppose that some people think that this is ‘no big deal’ or amusing, or something to make light of, I don’t. Wake up!

He is turning down 85 million dollars of your tax dollars and relying on personal donations vs PAC money.

The complaint McCain supporters have is that Obama will bury McCain financially since most McCain supporters dont know how to use the internet (too old). Obama is taking the same route Bush did in 2000 except that Bush did it so he could use his personal wealth and money from the Saudis and elsewhere to outspend the dems-Obama is doing it because he has tapped into the great wealth of a hopeful population who wants something different than the same old party of old white rich guys.

As you wish

Okay...you're silly. (Hey, you asked me too!)

Seriously, dude...yearning, thirsting for information about Obama? Try your local Barnes & Noble Booksellers, where you'll only find hundreds of books about the guy (and counting) from the left, right & center. Pick a few, decide what is credible, and vote for him or against him. Just spare the Manchurian Candidate conspiracy blather, which is exactly what this amusing article was about!

"An ever increasingly disturbing picture of deception and incompetence?" You were referring to Bush, correct?

The only conspiracy to worry about in American politics is right in front of our collective noses: voter ignorance and apathy. Proof positive: we re-elected Bush. We know all about him prior to 2000 and we elected him anyway. This ain't about hidden agendas and skelatal closets; its about an increasingly ignorant populace. And that doesn't appear to be changing any time soon.

i have found teh right candiadate is always the man with little childrenand a good family man and that is nto bad that obama fits thispic. a reinder there are many differen t types of biting insect eggs now in potted plants that people are buying in gardenshops and gro ccery stores anywhee plants are sold or cut lfowers and flower arrangements.. these are very dangerous and cost a lot of money to get a professional to rid the area of these pest. In antioch tennessee beechwood terrace aprtments where i live there are many different types of plants being planted. s is leading to a lot of different sipder eggs and other creepy crawlers being hatched near our apartements. these can also be wasp and other flying stinging insect eggs. be very careful of any little black looking seed which can be a lot of toxic bugs.flower arrangeemtnts delivered to all the candidates should be screened for these new type of terror attacks against little kids and all americans.

That's nice. I'll remember that if I should send any flowers to the candidates.
Re: Rubbish

But Margaret, you shouldn't tell people on the internet where you live. There's no telling how many McCain supporters or Jehovahs Witnesses you may get on your door step. Might want to consider getting a big dog or buying a gun.

People, play nicely. This is my first posting.

Mr. Beam, you are one funny man. I have dutifully sent your satire to all the appropriate people (everyone I know). I'm so sick of the Obama fear smears.

It was old rich white guys that freed the slaves.
Re: Rubbish

It was the old rich people who freed the slaves you say Dixie Man?

Yet it was also old rich guys who brought them here, bought them, and kept them in bondage.

Of course as one capitalist philosopher later explained, it was in the best financial interest of the rich to get rid of slavery. With slavery you had to feed and house them all and you had to take care of them cradle to grave. With free slaves working for crap wages you paid them only when they could work for you and then you cut them loose.

So notice the real truth here is that the old rich guys remain in power and control with each change. Each change makes them richer, and each change leaves the working man with less-even less in many cases than they had as slaves.
