I'm frustrated that the gabfest can't conceive of the idea that some Hillary supporters' second choice is McCain instead of Obama & that it is not just a protest vote by some old women.

In fact, in the same breath as reading an email giving the reason - judgment that B.O. is an empty suit - the gabfest latches on to the idea that Barack's list of issues is the same as Hillary's. Of course, that proves the problem: they are Hillary's list of issues, and Barack picked through them for the ones he liked.

As far as I am concerned, Barack would have to be a bit more moderate politically and have some kind of step-by-step on how he is going to achieve his policy goals if he wants my vote. Maybe there aren't that many of my type of voter. Is that true, gabfest?

Excellent post. I agree completely. Why people can' t understand that just becuase Obama is black and running for president.. does not mean we all love him. you are right , he is an empty suit... with nothing original of his own. I will not vote for him.
