New outfit doesn't equal new person.

Ok, I'll grant you that mixing up your warbrobe can sometimes brighten your mood and that you feel better when you keep things current and relevant, but still personal style.

But this constant assertion that you can "re-invent" yourself just with make-up clothes is a myth I didn't buy from Barbie, and am certainly not buying now; even if this new "doll" is marketed towards women 30-50+ and oh so carefully wrapped.

Well said. Women shouldn't be that shallow as to think that changing clothes changes them. It feels good to dress well but, come on...its the fashion industry (and Mattel) promoting fashion enslavement.

Spend the money on a degree, investments, something that will give you a future.
