This article/the Malamud-Pop-Eleches study at the center of it, makes a mistake typical of economic analysis of education by trying to quantify education solely in terms of the quantitative GPA and the attitudes towards higher education survey. I would argue that computers do teach these Romanian students important skills in delaing with technology that will invaluable in today's technological work place.
