Apart from the unfathomable expense and ridiculousness, it's not the label-consciousness, it's the Peter Panness of it all. Carrie and friends are too long in the tooth for what they are wearing. This isn't surprising given that Patricia Field dresses them -- the woman looks awful 90% of the time. They are all beautiful, fit women, but as they age the clothes are wearing them when it is the person who should be dictating the style.
