How nice to see someone at Slate has a modicum of decency. This was a much more fitting tribute to a man whose movies may not have suited everyone, but whose talent and passion for making movies was undeniable. Mr. Pollack's films weren't "benign mush". Thank you, Dana Stevens, for picking up the slack from your colleagues.
