This is a disturbing and distasteful article. It is Ms. Edwards's right to retain privacy. She has no obligation to be a spokesperson, or a role model, on the issue. She only has an obligation to be a mother to their children, a role, which, I am sure, she fulfills. This article, in turn, glorifies and validates all the rude, nosy and ignorant people who feel justified asking parents of multiples, "Are they natural?" The author is as insensitive and oblivious to simple human courtesies as anyone else asking these questions, only she displays her ignorance and idle curiosity without trepidation, for public view, in print.

Absolutely, thank you for making the messenger accountable too. I must say, I am proud of all the people on this forum who have posted their comments in support of Mrs. Edwards and her family and have cleared up and given testimony to the misconceptions about giving birth after age 45. God Bless their family. The only reason anyone would care to know how their children were conceived is to cast a negative light on them (put themselves up by putting others down). I hope I'm not opening another can of worms, but I have to say it. Your children can look like anyone in your family including generations back, but did anyone ever think that she could have had HER eggs frozen years before due to health issues or possibly wanting to wait to have children in her later years?!?! I am NOT asking because it is STILL her business!
