Not MY canard, just an article I found interesting and worth reading. Seems to me some on this site don’t want to LEARN anything about anyone, just want to get all glazed-eyed, faint at the first sight of Obama and then hope for a handout.

The fact that an article has reputable sources doesn't mean that it is well sourced or that the sources prove what they claim to. I can take any quote out of context from a reputable source to prove my fallacious point.

The reason most people are treating your article like the garbage that it is, is because Obama himself has said he's not a Muslim; he has attended a Christian church for the past twenty years (or did that whole Rev. Wright thing whizz by you); and too many sources to recount have debunked the claim.

I don't have to read every source from a Holocaust denial article to know that it is bunk. And it doesn;t matter if a Holocasut denial article has sources from the NYTimes WaPost or Haaretz. Crap is crap.

Opinions: we all have them and they are based on information and sources. Just because the great Obama said something, doesn’t make it fact either. I think it is fair to present other information and dialog into a conversation. If you want to believe what Obama is saying, good for you. I on the other hand, want more information and am seeking that information from multiple sources, not just the one person in question. In addition, it is hard for me to believe everything Obama is saying on this subject just based on his recent remarks about sitting in church for 20-plus years and never hearing the good Rev. Write spew his anti-American hate tirades. As you said, Crap is Crap.

First, regardless of opinion, it is documented fact (that you yourself have conceded) that Obama "sat in that church" for twenty years. Church . . . not mosque . . . church.

I suppose that Obama could have been also secretly attending Mosque services in his spare time while not campaigning, legislating, and community organizing. But, since I don't go in for the "Elvis and Tupac still Live!" type of headlines, I'll just ignore that possibility.

Of course, open conversation is good, but there is no reason that intelligent people should entertain every ridiculous claim that comes down the pike. Ridculous claims would include: holocaust denial, Elvis lives, Obama is a Muslim . . . but also attended United Trinity Church with his crazy (possibly Muslim?) pastor Rev. Wright.
