McAnger

Hilarious video:

<link>

Listen to his friends in the McCain Stream Media tell it like it's no big deal to have a legendary spaz with his finger on the button: "but his rival said that".

Anyhow, shows the respect that McCain has for his base on immigration, cussing people out who disagree with his more liberal position and claiming to have an elite amount of knowledge on the issue.

Not that the servile Rep base will go running to Bob Barr. Obedience is part of the personality profile of many conservatives. Despite McCain's efforts to move the Reps closer to the Dems on issues like climate change, immigration, and campaign finance, McCain can still expect to get votes from his servile supporters even if he shows utter disdain and contempt for those that give their "bullshit arguments".

I don't agree. GOP turn out could be a record low.
It's a hypothesis. . .

but as I said I think that many Reps are servile by nature. Look at how they just sort of fell in line without ever vetting McCain. Their primary was a marked contrast with the ringer that Dems put their candidates through. But we shall see. I'm willing to let my hypothesis stand or fall with the evidence, but I think that obedience is much more important to Reps than sending a message by voting Libertarian.

Some of the Republicans I know probably have popped blood vessels right about now.
