Disability Accessibility
by Antigone

I find WDW uninteresting. That said, they are remarkably progressive with regards to disability accessibility. It is one of the few resorts where families with disabled members can travel confidently without much hassle and with an amazingly accomodating and warm staff.

Gotta agree with that.

They are also fabulously sensitive about food allergies. We just got back from a trip which included my young nephew, who has an egg allergy.

When we made the meal reservations, we also noted the presence of someone with an egg allergy. And at *every* meal, the waiter or waitress identified the person, and the chef then came out and walked through the menu (and at one point, a walking tour of the breakfast buffet) to point out what was safe, what wasn't, and would make an alternative option if necessary.

I'm not the biggest Disney fan, but you gotta admire that level of dedication to customer service.
