Lawnbot - Now 50% less practical!

You have to wonder how large of a market there is for something like this. It's costly, cumbersome, potentially dangerous and compared to human-operated mowers, less effective at cutting grass. So for all of you childless people with money to burn, no free time and lawns the size of a parking space, you just hit easy street.

Honestly, just because it's a robot doesn't mean it's practical.

Maybe not yet. But the early adopters always pave the way for the mainstream products. You have to start somewhere, no?

And am I the only one that think Terminator when they see video of Big Dog? I have a feeling we are on the cusp...

After all, the Roomba has been vacuuming homes independently for years. Now there's a version that washes floors, too.

I don't see how a grass-cutting version is that different. If I had a big lawn again, I'd be on this like white on rice!
