It`s a very long article and I doubt if many will take the time to read it. Besides they don`t want to know.

Mayor Daley endorsed Obama immediately after he announced he was running for president and in return, Obama endorsed Daley's reelection for Mayor right smack in the middle of major federal investigations of corruption in the Daley Administration.

I have said fro the get go that there is something about BO that I just can`t trust.

Yeah, I think Hillary is better. So is Mc.

What is surprising,Elaine,is that those who live close do not know this.

Can`t see why they don`t.. Maybe they don`t want to know, as I said. Regardless I`m glad BO and michelle got their mansion!

They can have their mansion.I just do not want them in the Whitehouse mansion:o)

Just in case anyone wonders, this is fighting back after months of having trash thrown at Hillary.

MA, I was being facetious about the mansion. They may wish they had foregone the mansion.

Rezko helped them get that mansion and now he is on trial. The facts are now emerging.

I still wonder why those who live close to all this do not know a thing about the Obama connection?Attorney for Slumlords, backed by Rezko, much more money poured into his campaign thatn they ahve admitted by Rezko. He was Obamas sponser, for heavens sake!

And he won his Senate seat against Alan Keyes,a known nut case.

Well, I read the lot. Lots of innuendo, but, no facts.

It mentions a lot of crooks in Chicago, but, isn't Chicago rather famous for its crooks, going back to Al Capone?

Sure, crooks contribute to campaign funds, just as various other interested parties do. They do so in the hope that their contributions will be rewarded, that's why so many of them contribute to both sides of a candidacy, it's called hedging your bets.

Like it, or lump it, it looks like Obama is going to be the Dem candidate against McCain, either you get behind him, or, you throw the election into McCains lap.

Sure, Obama has weaknesses, Hillary could be dangerous, and McCain is bloody dangerous - what do you want; more wars, maybe even nuclear wars? Do you want to let McCain, and the PNAC Neocons continue? Many of you have campaigned, for years, against the PNAC Neocons, and now you want to support them!!! You are not the people I though I knew!

You've hit the nail on the head, Wulk.

"Tis the season to smear, lash and burn. Any innuendo will do if you can't find FACTS.

There are some people who used to post here who are convinced some of Hillary's supporters have gone off the deep end and lost it. After their posts today, I think they've got a point. "If I can't have it I'm taking my marbles and going home." Except home is with McCain. At least we'll know who's responsible when they get four more years of Bush Light. Sad, isn't it to see that's what they want.

Wulk, you have to know the Daley machine in Cook Country. They backed Obama and Rezko was his sponsor. He is now on trial.

None of the MSM will touch this subject. But you can bet the Republicans will with guns blazing.

At this point,I doubt I will be voting at all in the election.

MA, you've never struck me as naive. I doubt if there are many politicians who haven't taken a campaign donation from a crook. Which is not to say that the politician knew that the donation was from a crook.

I don't know if you've ever met a good con man. I have, he was one of my best mates, in London. He could have conned a nun out of her knickers and have her doing a pole dance in a strip joint. He even conned an IRA ASU out of $4k, which took some front, that was back in the late '80s, when $4k was worth some money. When they were trying to put the frighteners on him, he went back to them, and conned them out of another £10k - the last I heard, he'd buggered off to another country and opened up a night club, and a couple of brothels.

Now, I never took part in any of his cons, so, should I ever run for some office, should my acquaintance with him be held against me?

Oh, and he had a commendation for bravery, from the police, for saving a copper from being killed - a great get out of jail free card!
