Where are the Votes?
by madfisherman

Looks like Barack will get the Democratic nomination.

Now the question is November of 2008.

He has the youth vote and the black vote. The question is just what other group can he count on?

Just exactly where do the Obama people think their support will be coming from? Especially after the last few weeks of bitter working people in Pensylvania and Rev. Wright their has been a waning of the enthusiasm for Barack. Does Mr Cain walk away with the election?

madfisherman,I respect that you like obama, but i am a Clinton man! I feel like the party is split down the middle! I can't see ALL the DEMS.getting behind one or the other. This has been very competative, maybe a little tooooooo competative! I was thinking(to myself)that what if Hillary dropped, and joined up with MCcain, and brought all of her loyal voters with her??They might make a pretty good team !

That's what Hillary has been advocating all along. McCain and her are the only two people qualified to be president. The difficulty is that I don't think she can accept second place on the ticket. McCain would have to accept the VP slot.

Of course your saying that Hillary isn't really a Democrat, and the way she is acting seems to confirm that. Hillary is a Clintonista: if you are not for Bill or her, you're an enemy - regardless of circumstances.

Obama draws healthy support from across the whole spectrum. It doesn't matter if you are black, white, rich, poor, Rep, or Dem. All it takes is a refusal to continue to accept the same crap that's been piled on ou for the last decade. ( I know change is scary but close your eyes and hold on, it's already begun, and you can just lie there and let us fix these problems, by addressing and not hiding from them or refuseing to look for solutions)
Rushian Republicans

..and don't think it's not obvious that many of these posts come from Rushian Republicans, posing as Dems, but secretly supporting Hillary as the more attractive opponent...
