May 20...
by Rob1

A date that will surely go doen in infamy at Camp Hillary. A date when the Camp Obama will declare victory over the dark forces of his Amazonian Adversary and declare himself the People's Champ.

Hillary has vowed to keep on punching until the bitter end, but it would seem that she has taken too many blows (mainly self-inflicted) and is clearly punch drunk and "ready to go".

The line was drawn in the sand, and Obama toed the mark, took the blows, and counter punched brilliantly, piling up points with the judges.

At the end of 12 rounds, he's looking good. Lean and mean, sharp, crisp punches, and plenty of bounce left in his legs. That sucker Hillary may as well throw in the towel...

Only one little detail was ommitted here though. The fight is for 15 rounds, and the "mission" is not yet accomplished.

Too bad Ali lost his power of speech. He'd have had a ball announcing this fight.

And this announcer just saw Trainer Bother Bill slip a couple of horseshoes into Hillary's gloves for the thriteenth round.

Rockyetta may not be down and out yet...

Hey that's also the birthdate of one of our Frayers. I'll give you a hint. He's a Taurus. Stubborn, occasionally obstinate, and is fond of calling his fellow Frayers pet names. Three guesses... LOL

Oh, we'll all have our eyes peeled on that day. In fairness, and trust me I'm not a Hillary fan, I don't see why she still can't run now. Many are calling for her to step down now.

But there is still a chance she can win this thing. Sure, she'll probably rip the Democratic Party to shreds in the process and further divide it, but she still has a real chance of winning.

No, not hurricane! Another hint. He likes to throw in movie references in his political commentary.

Don't count Hillary out just yet. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some shenannigans pulled at the Dem national convention and Hillary ends up with the nomination.

That would probably lead to a riot at the convention, though......

I fear an Obama assassination. I remember 40 years ago , Bobby Kennedy. It happens. What a year!

Rob? lol...

No, Angel. Rob's bithday is October 28. Making him a Scorpio, which should come as no great surprise to anyone.

Probably Tsuku on May 20, who does like to reference movie clips in his posts sometimes. His most recent one being "Let's see what she's got..."

All things considered, very appropiate, it would seem.

Bingo! :)

Speaking of movie quotes, I did the same thing for a column I wrote about PETA. They claimed that Aflac used an abused ape in one of their ads and went down a list of abuses that entertainment animals go through, like being beaten and what not. So I used this one right after the list of abuses:

As Maj. T.J. “King” Kong would say, “Shoot, a fellah could have a pretty good weekend in Vegas with all that stuff.”

that last post of yours sounded like something Unebigot would write. That's a bad sign your mind is starting to decay.

Wait a minute! BigDaddy, you said it a couple of times that you weren't crazy about Obama. Now he's a proven thinker? Why the turnaround?

Anyway, I wrote before (somewhere) that Obama does have more experience as an elected leader than Clinton.

How does he have more experience? Hillary does know her way around the white house.

She does know how to plop that ass down and preside over a committee.
