There are 44 active BCTs and 5 SF Groupos. The BCT in Korea is NOT deployed. It is stationed there, just as the BCTs in Europe are not deployed but stationed. There are 30 National Guard BCTs and 2 SF Groups.

Some of the missions of the AC BCTs are being done by Guard units. The AC is being expanded.
