Oh, please. I am not Catholic, but I do know a good bit about it. Its history has not always been a happy one, but there is no comparison between Catholicism and Scientology. The "contract" is about as bogus as Scientology itself, and very likely unenforceable with respect to claims such as intentional tort that might arise from cases in which false imprisonment might be claimed.
