1 gal = 3.785411784 liters, (give or take)

Also, a dab is slightly more than a smidge, regardless of location.

Unless you're in a non-US English-speaking country, in which case a gallon is ten pounds of water, or about 4.5 litres, and a quart is still a quarter of it.
