indeed, presterjohn. And Obama and his people are getting away with it, "lock, stock and barrel." One of the few media "pundits" to point this out has been Cokie Roberts on ABC-TV news the other day -- she said in effect, "If Hillary & Bill Clinton had tried to pull this off (about denying a re-vote in MI and FLA), they would be getting called every name in the book and being called un-democratic for it."

YET, because it is Mr. "Don't You DARE touch him or say one negative word about him" Obama himself and his people who pulled off this unethical STUNT, he gets the usual Free Pass.

Pretty amazing stuff. btw, long time no see, I'm trying wildly to remember your old posting name from years ago. You still in NY? Still getting together with Claude, Thrasy and such?

p.s. I had been pretty impressed with David Brooks' columns during this campaign season until recently but he really BLEW IT with "The Long Defeat." It is not his place, nor is it Pat Leahy's to dictate to your Junior Senator that she QUIT the race at this point.

Don't know if you caught Chris Matthews' network TV show this morning but amazingly, ALL his guests (**) swallowed and followed that bogus line about "America is already in a postracial age." I don't know how city or town those people live in, but wherever it is, they are living in a BUBBLE. (**) even Tom Rather, who knows better but I think just went along with that unrealistic overly PC cant.)
