No Slunking Allowed!

Hi E. J. and Chadwick,

Thanks for your metion of Dr. Ron Paul and his recent campaign activities. Those of us following Dr. Paul have known he was still in the race and we appreciate it when others acknowledge it, too.

While it's true that Dr. Paul has been less active on the campaign trail, saying he "slunk away" to campaign for his congressional seat is not quite accurate. Dr. Paul focused on his 14th District campaign for Congress in TX and won over 70% of the vote on March 4th. Since then he has been hard at work, doing his job on Capitol Hill on behalf of his constituents. I'm not sure how much "work" Senator McCain has accomplished for his constituents while making 33 campaign appearances and trips abroad to the Middle East.

Dr. Paul has spoken directly with Chairman Bernanke about our economic crisis and the Federal Reserve. He has appeared on many television and radio programs sharing these views while answering difficult questions on how to turn our economy around. Dr. Paul is also preparing for the release of his new book, "The Revolution: A Manifesto" next week. He remains active and purposeful in sharing his message of liberty and freedom with those eager to hear it.

The really good news is that this campaign has always been a campaign of the people, and the grassroots have not "slunk away" in the least. They have been canvassing and caucusing and participating in the process of sharing Dr. Paul's message on a local level. The grassroots has made good headway securing delegates supporting Dr. Paul to their state and the national convention. This is where the Republican nominee for President will be chosen. Senator McCain is the presumptive nominee and hasn't won anything yet.

If you are eager for change and want a President who walks the talk of freedom, lower taxes and reduced spendking (and has done so for 30 years), please visit: www.ronpaul2008.com. We'd welcome your support to the cause of freedom for all.

Peace, Prosperity and Paul in 2008!

Well said. You have saved me the time to state the same thing. If the people want someone that will walk the talk, there is only Ron Paul. There may be others that are willing to do this, but they are not running. I have lived in his district off and on during his entire career. He has never gone back on his word or voted for anything that is not constitutional. If We the People want our country back, Ron Paul is our candidate. If we want to leave the elitist to play amongst themselves instead of trying to control our lives, he is our candidate. It is time to rise up people and let your voice be heard. This is our country, not anyone else’s. There is too much foreign influence in Washington. By foreign, I mean not of this country and foreign as in not for the good of the people of the United States of America. It is time once again for our public servants to be just that, knowing they can be fired for poor performance. Wake up as many people as you can so that they can really see what is going on around them. It is time to stop the globalization of this country and concentrate on keeping our sovereignty, our place as a leader in the free world (what’s left of it), and to regain the respect we once had and deserved.

I appreciate your response, especially because you have known the man somewhat personally after living in his district on and off during his career. I believe his new book, The Revolution: A Manifesto will enlighten a few and encourage their listening to the truth on a deeper level. I'm ordering copies to distribute...how 'bout you?

I will be doing that and making sure people see Endgame, Borders, and Freedom to Fascism etc. My wife and I are active in his campaign, but are focusing on the grassroots level most. We are disenchanted with his campaign and feel he did not choose good managers. That in itself concerns me since the ability to choose good people to be around you as president is of paramount importance. Peace and viva la R3VOLUTION!
