You appear not to have anticipated the criticism your series would unleash, but your reaction to charges of "racism" is drearily familiar: "No, no. I am a bold seeker of truth. The real racists are those wicked people over there."

That method is not merely ignoble; as you are discovering, it doesn't work.

More specifically, why did you write that my magazine, American Renaissance, “preaches segregation?” We believe in complete freedom of association, noting only that when they have such freedom, most people prefer the company of others of their own race. Segregation is the opposite of freedom of association, and the difference should be obvious to anyone.

Do you have any scientific data to prove that this is true? And if so, do you believe there is a scientific explanation for it, or is it a matter of environmental/cultural pressure/historical norms/etc?

Because this may have been true in the past, and it may be true in many (perhaps even most) areas today, but it's not true everywhere, including my own very diverse neighborhood.

How do you determine if that's cultural or not? There is a Korean and Chinatown in my city. They're both Asian but have their own community. So they segregate not based on race, but on ethnicity/culture. Ditto for the Italian, Polish, Ukraine, and Greek communities in my city. They're all White, but hey, they have their own communities. Perhaps language, food, culture, familiarity are at play? Furthermore White Americans for the most part are mongrelized Europeans - proof that ethnic boundaries can be removed. This suggests the same can happen for race. I mean, how do you explain interracial relationships?

I was hoping for quite a while that you'd show up here, but in this particular instance, I believe William should fight his own battle; I don't want to do anything that will facilitate his slipping off the hook.

But please, come back another time.

Prove you're Jared Taylor (somewhat) by publishing a corresponding item to this fray post on your website. Please, don't invite any hackers to test your site. It would only be IQ baiting. :-)

Forced busing is the prime example of what Mr Taylor is talking about. Courts tried to force whites to go to school with blacks where of course they would learn nothing being held back by low IQ ,criminal blacks.Their parents literally had to move them out of the city away from this element

Maybe some of you posters who have made Jared Taylor your bete noire (or in this case, bete blanche) in these discussions could point out some of the racist statements you've referred to before. Having never read American Renaissance, I'm just a curious by-stander.

Forced busing has served it purpose. Now I advocate the more logistically accessible busing of better teachers and mediocre teachers across school districts.

Busing only seperated the races more because whites moved to the suburbs leaving blacks in the inner city schools.

Looking at the roster for your AmRen conventions show no less than 2 former KKK heads, the BNP leader, and other unrepentant racists as speakers. How can you come on this site and claim to not be a racist when you clearly consort with them? Why would you give a podium to a David Duke or a Don Black if you do not share their neo-nazi views?

What does this have to do with "busing" teachers?

This is typical of the foolishness I must deal with every day. Why do you claim to have looked over the roster of American Renaissance confrenences when clearly you have not? Neither Don Black nor David Duke has ever been a speaker.

Otherwise normal people become so unhinged at the prospect of dealling with "racists" that they make the most elementary and humiliating blunders.
