Nothing is good for the GOP until they grow a pair
by gmajesko
-2 Reply

The GOP left conservatives behind as they sucked up to the Dems going light on Obama.

A President who sets the monthly record for body bags from Afganistan because he won't support the great miliatary who are risking their lives and working their butts off should be impeached.

The pathetic excuse about the Afgan election which has nothing to do with support for the military was traitorous after he declared this "a war of necessity" hired a new general and then ignored his advice. We have trained military taking dancing lessions in Iraq, waiting to be re deployed.

At least Wilson speaks out. We need more speaking out about the march to Communism, and the march to surrender being ochestrated by Obama, Pelosi and Reid. If you pay taxes, are unemployed, are in the military, a senior, YOU CANNOT VOTE FOR THE COMMIECRATS UNLESS YOUR ARE BRAIN DEAD.

The GOP sucks less than the Dems, but it is our only chance. Hope is that they grow a pair.

They now attack Gingrich....embrace Beck.

Our plan is working perfectly.

Muh-hahahahahaahahahaha!!!

They should take your advice
by reJoinder

...and be as extreme and wacko as possible, I agree.

The more of you who worship the military, want to put them above civilian rule, and call all of your enemies "commies" there are, the worse-off the GOP will be. And that's a GOOD thing for America.

According to FOX News Obama has supported Afghanistan and kept his promises there.

AFGHANISTAN

Pledge: "I would send two to three additional brigades to Afghanistan." -- Obama, during a Sept. 26, 2008, debate at the University of Mississippi

Verdict: Promise Kept. Since taking office, Obama has ordered 21,000 troops to Afghanistan. He ordered two brigades to the battlefield in February, and then announced an additional 4,000 troops during a strategy address in March. However, the administration is now mulling Gen. Stanley McChrystal's request for an additional 40,000 troops. As Obama and his security team reassess strategy for the Afghanistan war, it's unclear whether McChrystal's request will be granted.

Tarkol!!!! Everybody knows Fox News is part of the Liberal Obama-loving Media.

No credibility at all.

The GOP is being Teabagged.
by IdioticStemCell

And I'm loving every single moment of it.

The teabagger and birther scum will drag the Republican party even further to the right. They have hijacked the GOP and attached themselves to it like those parasitic ants that take control of the minds of their hosts and slowly rot them away from within.

The party of Joe "You Lie!" Wilson has been relegated to nothingness.

Never let the facts get in the way of a talking point.

You know that dispite being confronted with this fact, Gmseko, AliceMarie, Helipilot and the rest will just go on repeating the lie.

The amazing thing is the sheer hypocricy of this right wing line about Obama "dithering".

Bush dithered for five years, and they cheered for it!

Polls show more cons than libs
by gmajesko

Americans are still more conservative than liberal and need a party who identifies with their beliefs. In 2008, GOP ran a moderate (Mac) who was afraid to expose Obama as a superficial phony, with no experience in economics (he never even ran a Dairy Queen), no militay experience, wasn't even a boy scout, got all his education paid by someone else mostly taxpayers, was a community organizer who taught ACORN how to become corrupt, worshiped a Rev (Wright, who said "God Dam America"), was a best friend to Ayers, an avowed and unrepentent terrorist and Van Jones a communist, and now we find that Obama is a eunuch who CANNOT MAKE A DECISION(leaving it all to Pelosi, Read, Axelrod to write the stuff he reads like puppet).

Sorry, we need to rebuilt the GOP and today is the first day of the rest of our lives.

When Did John McCain Run A Dairy Queen? Or Sarah Palin?
by LeRoy_Was_Here

Are you even aware that, according to all credible sources, the budget deficits we are looking at would be even larger under McCain's proposed economic policies?

No, probably not......

not a good plan!
by jazzguitarman

While there are many fiscal cons and moderates that are independents the GOP isn't going to get them to vote for GOP candidates by being assholes.

This is what you fail to understand. You can bitch about the elite Dems but you and your kind (Rush \ Beck \ Palin) are far more elite than Dems everwhere. i.e. if someone doesn't agree 100% they are commies!

That is NOT a way to grow a party.

Re: not a good plan!
by bsharporflat

They want to grow the party the RIGHT way. Because they are RIGHT. And RIGHT will always win, in the end (so say the Scriptures ;- )).

It is obvious we are moving toward the End Of Days and as we do, as war and greed and poverty and disease continue to grow it is the sign of the Beast coming. What the hell JazzGuitar...you expect us to actually reduce war, reduce poverty and disease and greed? How are we supposed to get the Second Coming with that sort of crappy attitude?

Re: Polls show more cons than libs
by iwiwiwa
This is exactly why I voted for McCain, because of that string of successful Dairy Queen franchises he ran in Arizona in the mid-70s. Also, his boy scout background and merit badge collection were beyond reproach.
Re: not a good plan!

I also feel you overstate your case. Really many people are fiscal cons \ moderates. They work hard, don't receive a lot of government benefits and while you might call them selfish, they want their family to enjoy the fruits of their labor and not someone else.

To these voters the Dems still look like your typically tax and spend politicians. Of course the GOP also were tax and spend politicians. This is why there is so much political discontent.

Many of these fiscal cons \ moderates are NOT neo-cons (i.e. they do NOT believe war solves all problem!), and they are social libs \ moderates (pro-choice, don't hate gays etc..).

This group is the major reason there are so many independents. This type doesn't 'fit' into either of the 2 major parties. A third party would really make it IF the mainstream media gave it attention.

The GOP's at 18% and nosediving. Polls spell doom for it.
by IdioticStemCell
The Republican party will fall victim to the changing demographics in this nation.
what are the core beliefs?
by jazzguitarman

Can you name the top 5 core conservative issues? I only ask because as I have said many times to me the split is between fiscal cons and religious right wackos.

Fiscal cons can make major gains in future elections but I'm hating gays and being anti-abortion isn't going to win elections anymore.
